Knights Cottage was built over 100 years ago and has recently
been
refurbished and upgraded. Great care has been taken to retain its
old
world features including its natural stone facing.
There is oil fired central heating and the kitchen is fully
equipped with
cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave
and all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Washing machine and tumble dryer also provided.

Knights Cottage is situated at the foot of the Partry Mountains on an elevated site, commanding wonderful expansive views of Lough Mask, it is 50 metres from the lakeshore. The cottage is the ideal location for touring Connemara, Achill, Ballintubber Abbey and Cong where the film "The Quiet Man" was made. Golf can be played at the nearby courses of Ballinrobe, Westport and Castlebar, all within a half hours drive.
